»Our practice focuses on provides physiotherapy treatment to clients with neurological conditions and disorders of movement and balance. This includes infants and children who are not developing or moving as expected.
» We offer individual hands-on therapy in clients’ homes or place of work. As a result, we see clients in a variety of settings including: at home, in retirement homes, at school, in daycare centres, at work, in long-term care facilities.
» We provide individual assessment and treatment tailored to each patient’s unique needs with consultation and education given to their family and caregivers.
» We offer a community-based Transition Exercise Program for clients with Acquired Brain Injury. This program helps to smooth the transition from individual physiotherapy to recreation and fitness programs already available in the community. The Transition Program offers individualized activities in a circuit-training approach within a small group setting. The program is directly supervised by a physiotherapist and an exercise therapist with extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation.
» We provide consultation and therapy services for a community-based Fitness Program specifically for clients with Stroke, run by the Aphasia Centre of Ottawa. This program runs twice a week under the direct supervision of a physiotherapist and exercise therapist who design individual activities for each participant in the group.
» We offer in-home consultation and therapy services for palliative care and oncology clients. One of our therapists has been working in this specialized area for many years.
